Boda en Octubre

We had yet another wedding this year.
I started thinking about what to wear, when my husband suggested I already had a dress.
We made a weekend trip to Madrid back in May and, as usual, I visited Chopper Monster. I found this beautiful red dress.

Al final este año tuvimos otra boda más.

Empecé a pensar qué ponerme, cuando mi marido me sugirió que ya tenía vestido.

Nos fuimos de fin de semana a Madrid allá por Mayo y, como siempre, fui a Choppor Monster. Y encontré este vestidazo rojo.

I haven't even considered it because I'm not used to wiggle dresses at all. I didn't even wanted to buy it in the first place, I just wanted to see how it fitted. It made me feel like Agent Carter. Again, it was my husband who encouraged me. It looked amazing, and we had been on a diet for so long. It was time for a reward.

Ni me había planteado este vestido porque no estoy acostumbrada a los vestidos ajustados. Ni siquiera me lo iba a comprar, sólo me lo probé para ver cómo me quedaba algo así. Me hizo sentir un poco Agente Carter. Una vez más, fue mi marido el que me animó a comprarlo. Era tan bonito, y llevábamos tanto tiempo a dieta. Tocaba recompensa.

Once I decided I was going to wear this dress, the accesories game started. I though about using the pink shoes I wore for my sister-in-law's wedding. But then I remembered I had an unused pair hidden in a closet.

My mum bought these for my own wedding, but then she regretted the sparkle and got a more subtle ones.

They have shades of red and green, so I decided to go that way.

Una vez decidida por este vestido, daron comienzo las olimpiadas del accesorio. Pensé en usar los zapatos rosas que llevé para boda de mi cuñada. Pero me acordé de un par que tenía sin estrenar y escondido en un armario.

Los compró mi madre para mi boda, pero se lo pensó mejor y se compró otros más conservadores.

Tienen reflejos en rojo y verde, así que decidí tirar por ahí.

I also looked for a handbag, as the ones I already had did not match at all. I looked for silvery ones, but I found this one. It was definetely safer to go for the neutral silvery option, but... it's me. 

También busqué bolso, ya que los pocos que tengo no me pegaban. Miré algo plateado o similar, pero encontré este. Habría sido más lógico optar por algo neutro y plateado, pero... soy yo.

I decided that Iwas doing my hair and makeup myself. I did my usual set and put two hair flowers matching the rest of the outfit. 

Decidí que el pelo y el maquillaje iban a correr de mi cuenta. Así que me hice mis rizos y me puse dos rosas a juego con el resto del conjunto. Sencilla pero resultona.
