'What Katie Did' Stockings

A couple of months ago I decided to get some stockings from What Katie Did.

I have always loved tights; I have tons of them and in many different colours. It is great to combine the tights with the dresses, and the cardigans. But sometimes it is a real headache when you don't get the combination right.

I have always found hard to find nude tights, as they are always way more tanned than my natural colour. Also they are usually thinner than coloured tights and so they break so easily.

So after seeing their products for some time, I decided to get a couple of different ones to see if they would suit me.

I went for the seamfree RHT Stockings in Champagne, and the Glamour Contrast Seamed Stockings in Champagne/Latte.

First things first, the packaging was adorable. I don't have a picture because I couldn't wait to open it, but you get the idea.

Hace un par de meses decidí comprar unas medias de What Katie Did.

Siempre me han gustado las medias; tengo miles (de panties) y de todos los colores. Me parece genial combinar las medias con los vestidos y las chaquetas. pero a veces las diferencias de color son tan pequeñas (y mi toc tan grande) que me ataca los nervios.

Siempre me ha costado encontrar medias color carne, porque siempre son más oscuras que yo. Tambien suelen ser mas finas que las de colores, con lo que se rompen con mas facilidad.

Así que después de observar sus productos durante algún tiempo, me decidí a coger un par de modelos a ver qué tal me funcionaban.

Elegí las RHT Stockings sin costuras y en color Champagne, las Glamour Contrast Seamed Stockings en Champagne/Latte.

Para empezar, el envoltorio es adorable. No tengo foto porque le tiré de cavbeza a abrirlo, pero os hacéis una idea.

Lingerie it's not something you can return, so you have to take your chances for sizing. They are different models, one is stretchy and the other is not, so they have different sizing.

La lencería no es algo que se pueda devolver, así que te la tienes que jugar con las tallas. Son modelos diferentes, uno es elástico y el otro no, así que tallan diferente. 

Seamfree RHT Stockings

I tried the seamless first. As I took them out of the package I already felt that they were going to be too big for me. They are not stretchy, so I tried them on just to be sure. And I was right. The foot was a bit too big for me, and no mattered how tight I fastened my suspender, they wrinkled around my ankles.
Apart from that, they are soft as heaven and so easy to handle. They are sheer, so they are perfect for Spring or Summer.

Glamour Contrast Seamed Stockings

Hoping they will be better, I tried the seamed ones. And they were. Of course they are different, as they are stretchy and a bit thicker, but above all that, they were my size.
They are firm but still translucent.
They are also really lovely to the touch, and easy to handle.

I tend to have problems putting on tights and stockings, as my nails are constantly splintered. I remember my mother giving me some cotton gloves on my wedding day to put on my stockings. I think I should do that every time.

Surprisingly enough, it didn't happen this time. Maybe luck, maybe the quality of the stockings also helps.

So in conclusion, I highly recommend this brand.
I really liked both of them, and save for the size mistake, I would definitely get some more in the future. Specially the Seamed ones, as they come in many different colours. And as you know, I love to combine colours.
