My 1st Donuts
| I got some baking supplies on Black Friday.
I bought some donut baking pans, normal size and mini-donut size. I had only made donuts once and it was with a donut maker. They were edible, but not really something to repeat. So I was really excited to try them. I decided to use it for the first time and make some light dessert for New Year's Eve. So I chose a lemon recipe. |
Compré varias cositas para el Black Friday.
Pedí
unas bandejas para hacer donuts al horno, una de tamaño normal y
otra para mini-donuts.
Sólo
he hecho donuts una vez y fue con una maquina tipo gofrera. Se
dejaban comer, pero tampoco fue como para repetir.
Con
lo que tenía muchas ganas de usarlas.
Decidí estrenarlas para Nochevieja y hacer un postre ligerito.
Decidí hacerlos de limón.

Así son una vez horneados. La primera foto es la parte de abajo (pegado al molde) y la segunda es la parte de arriba (lo que crece).

Improvisé un glaseado a base de zumo de limón y azúcar glasé.
Tienen una pinta impresionante recién glaseados, pero se tiene que secar.

| The dough was just right for the two pans, 6 donuts and 12 mini donuts. My idea was to decorate them as clocks with a bit of chocolate, but it didn't turn out very well, so I left them just like that. |
La masa me dio exactamente para las dos bandejas, 6 donuts y 12 mini donuts.
La idea era decorarlos como relojes con un poco de chocolate, pero no resultó nada bien, así que los dejé como estaban.

In conclussion, they are so easy to do (especially the glaze), and they were yummy.
I brought all of them for dinner and they were a success.
